Overview
AttachDesk ("we", "us", "our") is a product of Jag Journey, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum data needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
Information we collect
We collect:
- Account information — email, name, hashed password, optional 2FA secret.
- License information — purchase records, plan tier, devices activated.
- Device telemetry — device fingerprint, OS, app version, last-seen timestamp, connect-trace events used to debug failed connections.
- Session metadata — start/end timestamps, peer IDs, connection type (P2P / relay / TURN), aggregate quality metrics. We do not capture the contents of remote desktop frames, keystrokes, or files transferred.
- Payment data — handled by Stripe; we never see full card numbers.
How we use your information
We use the data above to authenticate you, validate licenses, route remote-desktop sessions, troubleshoot connection failures, prevent abuse, and bill subscriptions. We do not sell personal data, ever.
How sessions are encrypted
Every session uses end-to-end encryption: X25519 key exchange to establish a shared secret, then AES-256-GCM for each frame. Our relay servers see encrypted bytes only; they cannot decrypt your screen, audio, or input.
Sharing with third parties
We share data only with infrastructure providers that help operate the service (Stripe for billing, Cloudflare for delivery, our hosting providers). We do not sell or rent your data.
Data retention
Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. Connect traces are retained for 30 days then deleted. Session metadata is kept for billing reconciliation per applicable tax law (typically 7 years). On account deletion we remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, or request deletion at any time. Email privacy@jagremotedesk.com.
Children
AttachDesk is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email and on this page; the "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
